Beginning
I often think about this: what would be the possible shock for aliens if they ever visited Earth and interacted with us. Now you might say it could be anything, but I believe they would be more disappointed rather than happy. If they were happy, it would only be because they got to know another race, another biological species, intelligent ones. But after digging deeper, they would likely become saddened by our reality.
Earth
The first disappointment for them would likely be nations, borders, passports, and cultures. Because the alien race that managed to interact with us would already be, in some way, more progressive than us. It would mean they have something that unites them in a better way than what we think of as human unity.
From their perspective, the things that would ultimately lead to our downfall are exactly these: nations, borders, passports, and cultures. I believe the alien race that would visit us would have a different ideology: one single planet, one name for their species, and not a single border, culture division, passport system, or nation. Just one large hive, united for one purpose.
Maybe they were once like us, but a great war started that wiped out anyone who dared to differ by mentioning they came from a specific place.
God
As I say again and again, disappointment can take many forms. Imagine an alien race interacting with us and studying religions. Imagine an alien race that already knows which religion holds the truth from their scientific perspective and a better universeview (a word I coined instead of worldview).
Imagine them discovering this and saying we were fortunate to have this religion, while we ourselves wonder what they mean. Maybe they say this because, once upon a time, a messenger of the same biology as them, from among them, sent by a cosmic force, informed this alien race that after they decay or die, they will not have eternal life.
Imagine this messenger saying that the One above all decided they would simply perish, that they are not chosen. Imagine this same cosmic messenger notifying them that the cosmic force did not grant them religion, or something similar to that, and that the sole purpose of their existence is to make the kingdom of the One above all a more diverse place.
And when they look at us, no matter what religion it is, they would say that at least we return to the source that once created us, unlike them, the alien race, who only have this universe and no life after it.
Secrets
Imagine an alien race so advanced that they cross-bred our genes with theirs and gave birth to an entirely new species, placing them on a completely new planet. Imagine they are already hiding it from us, but somehow humanity gets this information in its hands.
What would our first reaction be? Is possessing genetic information about us without prior consent from humanity even allowed? How would cosmic law work in that case? Are we ready for this? And who are these new people? These are just the beginning of the questions.

Animals
Imagine an alien race that does not understand the purpose of animals in our reality and on our planet. Maybe they are a species that became so biologically independent and strong that their life cycle would not require another biological organism with lower cognitive abilities to support their wellbeing.
I hope you understand what I am saying. Imagine them seeing humanity’s dependence on animals as a major limitation to true biological freedom and form.
Conclusion
These are the questions that haunt me from time to time. Truly marvelous, I would say. The universe is so vast that an entire existence is not enough to explore everything, because there is always something new out there.
But believe me, with all these imperfections, even if humanity knows it is doomed and will perish one day, we are one of a kind. Our end would become the stories that other alien races tell each other.
