Intro
Greetings, dear reader, and thank you for visiting my website. Today, in this article, we are exploring the art of reaching people. When I say this, I mean it from the perspective of international negotiations. But it can be applied in other areas too, if used correctly and for a greater good, not for personal desires.
If reaching out was so easy, everyone would accomplish their tasks very well. Even reaching out to God has so many aspects, just to receive a reply from Him. So, why does it look so easy to do but at the same time not that easy? What is so special about the art of establishing a connection? What is a connection? What is establishing? Why exactly reaching out? I’m gonna answer all of these questions right now.
Backstory
Remember that humans are social creatures. The accomplishment of some tasks we have depends on humans who are not in our immediate control. Let’s say you go to a police station to change your residential address. The document you receive depends on the other person giving it to you.
You wanna sell apples but don’t want to cultivate the trees. Your business depends on farmers deciding whether to sell to you or not.
All of these examples are good, but the main tool used to achieve goals here is the art of reaching out to these people, and not only to those specified above. It takes special care, so you gotta commit to it.
Rule #1: Visibility
This rule states: to master the art of reaching out to people, be visible to them and observe them.
In international negotiations, when it comes to international banking and partnerships, the very first thing you do when establishing a connection with some bank is to make sure this bank is visible to you and you are visible to them. How? You subscribe to their LinkedIn, you connect with the people inside this bank on LinkedIn, you subscribe to their X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, probably TikTok too. But here’s the question: why not only on LinkedIn, but also on all those other platforms?
It’s a very good question. Remember what I said about visibility? Subscribing to all of their socials makes them visible to you, and you visible to them. I have countless examples where companies would see one person subscribing to all of their socials, wondering why he/she did that. And then the support reaches out. This way, you build intrigue, but primarily visibility for yourself and for them.
After visibility is established, you have great ground for observation. News would come in, videos would be recommended, and you would slowly get to know what the essence of this or that company/bank is.
Rule #2: Interaction
When visibility is enough and observation is done, it all comes down to meaningful interaction.
Let’s get back to the example of the banks. Alright, you subscribed to the bank’s socials, observed the company, now what?
Rule #2 states: reaching out to people is, in essence, interacting with them through established and identifiable channels.
In the context of the 21st century, it looks like this: if you wanna have a business partnership with a bank, you text someone from their employees, whether it is for correspondent banking, a corporate account, or a loan. You present yourself and articulate your goal.
The main thing to remember here is to make sure you are easily identifiable. In 90% of all cases, no one is gonna reply to you if you have fewer subs, no PFP (profile picture), no background photo, not enough text to tell more about yourself, and really low engagement. So make sure people feel at ease when reading you.

Rule #3: Execution
The rule states: to reach people and get your things to work, be ready to execute and be present.
Looks very simple: when you are visible and vice versa, when they are visible to you, when you have observed and learned more about a company, when you have interacted while being easily identified, it all comes to the final part: executing.
An employee of a bank might wanna invite you to a video call, a conference where you could meet, or you might just visit the company to meet in person. Make sure you are present there. If it’s in person, good. If it’s a video call, make sure they see you. Don’t hide behind a disabled camera.
Conclusion
You might say, “What did I just read? It’s so obvious. Why is he talking about all that?”
But people often never learn about a company first, don’t subscribe to anything they have, don’t make themselves visible to a company, reach out to the employees of companies, banks, whatever, without a proper profile that looks like a typical scam to many, and have the audacity to say no when it comes to the video call. These people also say that they want to text because it’s better.
Do you think they will accomplish anything, whether it is business, partnership, banking, trade, etc.? No, they won’t receive anything except one plate of delicious disappointment.
Stay safe, and see you in the next article on my website.
