Intro
Hello and welcome to the next article on my website. I hope you are doing well and that everything is okay in your life. Today, in this article, we are gonna talk about the culture and manipulation that many companies, banks, and financial institutions use to make you work for less money while also making you feel thankful to them for it, of course, without you even realizing it.
You might ask what all of that means and what message I am trying to convey to you through this article. The message and lesson are simple: never believe everything that many companies try to instill in you, and never work more than they deserve. It’s important.
Culture
Culture is the #1 tool for many companies to start the process of human resources manipulation. For instance, you have companies out there that try to praise people within a company who work overtime instead of strictly following the 8-hour rule. They create desks with heroes of the month, where they take your picture and place it there as ‘’the most hardworking colleague’’. It gives you a false spike of dopamine. But remember, whatever is giving you a spike in dopamine without material gain, like money or an equivalent, is just a waste of your energy.
This tactic is used when companies wanna profit from your energy without paying you enough. If your eyes opened while reading this and you are still staying at a company after your scheduled hours, doing overtime work, leave immediately.
Credit Card
‘’We work for people’’, said a shareholder of one company where I used to work. He entered the treasury and looked at the picture on the wall. The picture depicted money and gains as a graph, and he didn’t like it. He wanted us to paint the wall white, and I said, ‘’as you wish, sir, the company is yours’’.
He forgot that the essence of each company is money, making money. If the bank where I worked would go bankrupt, it would go bankrupt because of what? Lack of what? Lack of money. Not lack of willingness to help people.
I wanna ask you a question. In essence, what is the salary the company is giving to you? From their side, it is a disbursement, an account payable. From your side, it is your gain, remuneration for the work you did in a month. But remember, whatever disbursement it is out there, it means it’s a loss for a company, even if they know they got something in exchange when they hired people, like the tasks you accomplish. But they still wanna get that money back.
You know what they use? They use a credit card as a way to get that money back in. Traditional banks are known for deliberately giving high limits to their own employees just to make sure they get back the salaries they gave out, plus the interest. Works pretty well, right?
The logic behind getting a credit card limit is simple: if you make 2,000 USD per month, your credit limit should be 1,000 USD, and not 4,000 USD, to protect you from going bankrupt. But what do the banks do? They give you exactly 4,000 USD, even 5,000 USD, as a credit card limit. That’s what they do. From my own opinion, just for you to sleep well, close your credit card. A loan is a curse of the past, present, and future.

VIP Department Trick
‘’You gotta be thankful you got here’’, says some head of meaningless departments. Remember: when you get to the next department as a way of moving up the internal career ladder within a company, there will be people who will say this to you.
On top of this, remember one thing: each head of department has a specific limit of money to distribute as salaries to their employees within a specific department. When you are a noob, they will say what I mentioned above and will try to give you ultimatums just to make sure you make less money before you even get to that department, just because this department is special.
No, nothing is special. They are giving you less money than you made before getting to that department, and they want you to wait 6 months before they raise your salary. Do you think it is a coincidence, or do they just want to save money on you? The second one makes more sense to me.
Conclusion
When your eyes open to that, it’s hard to close them a second time. Always question such situations and be aware that you and your peace matter. No matter what, people around you will try to save money on you. Refuse that and make yourself a better man.
Thank you for reading this article, and see you on the next one.
